Now or Never is a series of stories about solutions to climate change for television broadcast and the web. It's about people taking action in their homes, communities, businesses, schools, faith places... It's about a groundswell of energy to rethink energy. We're starting in the Northeastern US because that's where we are. We'll be moving to other regions around the country as the project grows. So check out our stories, and share yours with us.

In this episode volunteeer workers run Powderhouse Hill in southern Maine, keeping a ski area open with the energy of a local community. The truck that the Hardee boys drove up the hill and parked to run a rope tow still provides the support for the current lift. With climate change upon us the spirit of times gone by lives with us today.

We've just returned from the Global Warming and Energy Solutions Conference sponsored by Cool Air – Cool Planet in Manchester NH where we shot more than 20 hours of footage. For two days dozens of speakers discussed policy, science and action being taken around the Northeast. Several presidential candidates attended along with leaders from the business, academic, government and the non-profit sectors. We had the opportunity to sit down with a number of the politicians, speakers and attendees and in the coming weeks we hope to share some of their thoughts with you through our podcasts.
